This was Hudson's first time to love on a stuffed toy. He said Elmo (how did he learn this??) and hugged it... a lot. It's these sweet times we have to remember, especially when they happen on the same day as his biggest tantrum to date. Wow. So excited about the terrible twos.

Hitting the court
Oh how Hudson loves a good game of ball. Today I brought a ball to the park and as soon as he saw it, he made a beeline for the court. I'm not saying we have a basketball player on our hands, just that he loves balls and courts and games. And that he's very tall.

Had to see it to believe it!
Hudson had so much fun with Auntie Jen and Corley this weekend, he was tired out! He was still asleep when I went to get him today, making great use of the paper doll quilt from Dee Dee (obviously made before we knew he wasn't a she)and cowboy quilt from Mrs. Emerson. And it was his first morning not to cry when Kirk left - big! BUT Hudson escaped his classroom and made it all the way down the hall to the playground before they noticed. He's a runner!!

Teeter Totter
Buela and Papa are always so much fun at the park. Note Hudson's "death-grip" on his trains. He played for hours on the jungle gym, slides and swings without letting them go.
Morning at Ruby Beach
Great morning looking at starfish and anemones in the tide pools. As you can see in this picture, Hudson took off for the water any time we let go of him. :)

Hudson and buddy Helena
