Naptime, but I might need some friends

Hudson and I were reading books after lunch when he jumped off my lap, said night-night and proceeded to put his bus and car through the crib slats. The video is what quickly followed. Note how many "friends" were also ready for a nap and how serious Hudson was too. Within 5 minutes everyone in the crib was sound asleep. :)

We had so much fun Friday night with our good friends Kristin and Brian and their son John. The boys played and played! Of course getting a photo of both of them was almost impossible - they are far too busy!!

Austin's motto is "Keep Austin Weird" and our neighbors' efforts to fulfill that are by raising chickens in the middle of the city. (Another one has a pet pig)

Hudson needs to make a daily visit to see the pig and the chickens on his way to the park. Today he got the bonus of being invited in to meet the chickens and learn all their names! We got to look at their coop and the hutch for the babies too. Hudson even got to take home an egg for breakfast.

Hudson and Papa had a great time checking out the digger at our neighbor's house just down the block. What a treat to have a construction site right by your house!
